What to expect on the Unito Business Administration
Honest, no-hype information about the exam — what we know, what we don't, and how to calibrate your preparation.
Overall difficulty
Moderate — the syllabus is broad (6 subjects from the program's reading list) but questions test conceptual understanding, not memorisation. Anyone who has studied the material seriously should find it manageable.
Question style
Multiple-choice, single correct answer. Questions are definition-based and scenario-based — expect ratio computations (ROCE, ROE, liquidity), accounting classifications, and short conceptual problems. No trick questions, but several plausible distractors.
Time per question
Roughly 2 minutes per question at the published pace. The time pressure is real but not extreme — prioritise questions you're confident on first.
What this platform covers
- All 6 subject areas from the program's published reading list (Business, Financial Statements, Banking, Finance, Marketing, Strategy)
- Conceptual lessons with worked examples for every topic
- Multiple-choice practice questions across all subjects
- Timed mock exams in the same format as described by the program
- Formula cards and downloadable study booklets
What it does not cover
- The official question bank — Unito does not publish it, so no prep resource has it
- Guaranteed scoring rules — the official weighting is not publicly confirmed; we use plain percentage scoring
- Italian-language variant — our content is in English; the official exam language may differ
- Essay or open-ended questions, if any are used in the actual exam
Exam-day tips
- 1Do the Financial Statements section last if you're running low on time — it rewards slow, careful calculation. Rush it and you'll make arithmetic errors.
- 2For ratio questions, write down the formula first, then substitute. Every mark is a formula application, not recall.
- 3Don't leave blanks unless you're completely lost — there is no wrong-answer penalty.
- 4Mock exam scores above 65% consistently suggest solid readiness. Below 50% means there are still knowledge gaps worth closing.
