Università degli Studi di Milano ('La Statale'), founded in 1924, is one of Italy's largest multidisciplinary public research institutions with historic headquarters at Ca' Granda. International students apply online through the university portal and Universitaly. Admission routes depend strictly on the programme call: English-taught medicine (IMS) requires the national IMAT examination, undergraduate political sciences (IPLE) requires the official CISIA CEnT-S examination, postgraduate finance (MEF) requires a compulsory 40-question online background knowledge test, while competitive bachelors in Artificial Intelligence rank EU candidates via English TOLC-I and non-EU abroad via the SAT Suite.

How to apply here

Check entry requirements and application deadlines

Identify your degree programme, confirm whether admission is open with knowledge assessment or capped by test, and register on the UniMi online services portal. Non-EU visa applicants for Master's programmes must apply by 30 April 2026.
