Università degli Studi di Torino (UniTo), founded in 1404, is one of Italy's oldest and most prestigious comprehensive universities. International candidates holding foreign qualifications apply online through the Apply@UniTo portal. Admission routes are established by programme calls: English-taught medicine requires the national IMAT examination, undergraduate business ranks applicants by their College Board SAT score, undergraduate law requires the CISIA TOLC-SU TARM assessment, and postgraduate business (Business Administration) admits European candidates via an on-campus 30-question entrance test while evaluating non-EU candidates residing abroad through international academic dossier assessment.

How to apply here

  1. 1

    Submit application on Apply@UniTo

Candidates holding foreign qualifications must register on the Apply@UniTo portal and submit their online application for up to two degree programmes, paying the 60 euro application fee.

Tuition is paid in four instalments. The first instalment of 156.00 euros is paid at enrolment. For international students residing abroad, the full-comprehensive contribution then depends on the GDP per capita PPP of the country of residence, in six brackets from 500.00 euros (up to 26,000.00 euros) to 1,500.00 euros (above 60,000.00 euros). The reduction must be requested in MyUniTo by 20 November 2026; requests up to 26 February 2027 carry a 150.00 euro penalty, and after that the maximum amount is due.
