Standard logic uses connectives: conjunction (AND, true only when both operands are true), disjunction (OR, true when at least one operand is true), and conditional implication (IF P THEN Q).
Implication P => Q is false strictly when hypothesis P is true and conclusion Q is false. The negation of a universal statement 'All X have property Y' is existential: 'There exists at least one X that does not have property Y'.
Conjunction (AND)
P AND Q
True strictly when both P and Q are true
Disjunction (OR)
P OR Q
True when at least one proposition is true
Implication (P => Q)
False only when P=True and Q=False
Vacuously true when P is false
Negation of 'All'
Negation of 'All A are B' is 'Some A are not B'
Does NOT mean 'No A are B'
